Roofers in Cobham

No. We come out, look at the roof properly and give you a written price with the work set out in plain English. There is no charge and no obligation to go ahead.

Cobham is about 12 miles from our base in Windlesham. Call us on 07766 761202 and we will tell you honestly when we can be there rather than promising a time we cannot keep.

It depends on the size of the roof, the covering you choose and whether the timbers, battens and membrane need replacing. That is why we survey first and give a written price rather than a figure over the phone.

If the covering is sound and the problem is localised, a repair is usually the sensible answer. If the same roof keeps failing in different places you are paying twice, and a replacement works out cheaper. We will tell you which we think it is and why.

Esher, Byfleet, Sunbury-on-Thames and Weybridge are all close by, and we work across Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire, South West London and Buckinghamshire more widely.

Yes. We install roof windows and build and re-cover dormers, including the flashing kit that keeps them weathertight. Getting that detail right is what stops a new window leaking.

We can provide a written report and photographs of the damage, which is usually what an insurer asks for. We deal with the roof; you deal with your insurer, and we will give you what you need to make that straightforward.

Slate, tile, flat roofing and felt systems, along with fibreglass and EPDM rubber for flat roofs. That covers most property styles we come across.

In our experience most leaks start where two surfaces meet — around chimneys, in valleys, at flashings and abutments — rather than in the middle of a roof. That is why tracing a leak properly matters more than patching the nearest tile.

It is the layer under the tiles that catches anything that gets past them. Older bitumen felt goes brittle and tears, which is why a roof can leak even with every tile in place. It can only be replaced with the covering off, so it is done as part of a re-roof.
